Athinagoras Costacos, born in 1984, started his career at the Astir Palace 5* Resort in Athens. Today he is the executive chef at the SLH chain boutique hotel “Bill and Coo” in Mykonos, Greece.
As a chef he worked in many prestigious restaurants of Athens, such as "Pil-Poole" and "Moorings" and learned the hotel culinary world working in the hip hotel "Fresh" and previously in the gourmet restaurant “Boat" of Sofitel Athens. His talent and career allowed him to travel and accepted jobs in France ("Trocaderro" - Sofitel Paris and ”Espandon“ - Ritz hotel).
Athinagoras was the first greek TopChef, a television contest that make him famous to the culinary public. After winning he left cameras and tv studios to create the menus for one of the most successful Greek Restaurant in London today.... "MAZI"! Now he is back to Mykonos to inspire the guests of “Bill and Coo” restaurant, with enthusiasm and two awards for best Greek cuisine of 2012.
